Rib Fest was a great time. We ate some great BBQ, drank great beer, and listened to great music! We met some wonderful people from Pennsylvania. A catering/vending group called "Smoken Dudes BBQ" Tom Christine was his name. He invited us to a class he holds to teach competition cooking. Gave us a lot of tips and introduced us to a new smoker....THAT I WANT! Tom's team ribs were spot on, awesome baked beans and the cole slaw complimented the pulled pork! They had two types of bbq sauce, Hickory smoked and applewood. I loved the hickory sauce, especially on the pulled pork. www.smokendudesbbq.com. Joe then insisted we try Jack's BBQ, so i meandered over and got there Rib platter. Came with beans and slaw. I enjoyed the ribs, but I enjoyed washing them down with my Amber Rock in my new Rib Fest beer mug. Can't wait until next year......
