Apple Blossom Day this year was on May 7th. We were so excited about firing up the smoker and cooking for the community. It was the first time we fired that bad boy up this year and the smell was like coming home! Joe and I prepared 3 foot pork loins, and smoked the sweetest, most delicious chicken quarters to date. Arriving at 6 am to do so. The air was filled with the smell of that Apple wood smoking away. Tracy Dober and Brittney Hermance came and helped us for the day. They served up Chicken or Loin sandwiches with our BBQ baked beans and corn on the cob! Were looking forward to Hardscabble Day is September when were going to serve up some of of our pulled pork with creamy cole slaw!!!
