Apple Blossom was great this year! A little rain all day, but the BBQ flew out the window! Thank you to our community for coming out and supporting us and all the other vendors even though ya got soaked!

Made some cake!

Made some cake! It was glorious! Needs Bourbon and bacon!                    Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp baking soda

2 cups sugar

2 eggs

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

2 1/2 cups crushed pineapple 20 oz

1 g stick butter 113

3/4 cup evaporated milk

1 cup sugar

1 cup chopped nuts

1 cup coconut shredded

CAKE: Mix all cake ingredients with a spoon. Pour into oiled 9x13 inch pan and bake in 350 F oven for 30 - 40 minutes or until center of the cake is done.

While cake is still hot, poke it with a skewer to help frosting soak into cake. Immediately pour frosting over it.

FROSTING: Cook butter, evaporated milk and sugar until thickened, about 5 minutes, stirring often. Add nuts and coconut

Beer, Bourbon& Bacon Fest

We were so excited to be a part of this festival this year and can not wait until next years!!! We were tasked with making at least one item on the menu with bacon. So we made our Cheesy mac with bourbon glazed bacon which flew out the door. We also made some bourbon meatball sliders with bacon. We had our great friend join us for the day and he was making chocolate covered bacon sticks. Man were they good! It was a blast! Thanks to my team for the long hours and hard work!! A couple of you were over nighters with Joe and I and I know you were feeling it! Thank you to Jon Newcomer for lending his hands and countless other things that day! Sure happy you were there!
